New Samsung Galaxy S3 Model with Processor Exynos 4412-SoC, 2GB RAM, and LTE

Some time ago, appeared rumors about a special version of Galaxy on S3 . This modified version, which is intended for the Korean market is to support various LTE technologies and offer not only the well-known Exynos quad-core processor, two gigabytes of memory. As the online magazine The Verge now reports, this rumor has now been officially confirmed by Samsung.

So far, the Samsung Galaxy S3 was offered in two model variants. On the one hand there is the GSM version with the Exynos quad-core processor and a gigabyte of RAM, which is sold mainly in Europe. In North America, however, the Galaxy will be sold with an LTE S3 chip, the dual-core Snapdragon CPU-S4 and two gigabytes of RAM. These two models are now merged together for the Korean market, so that the new S3 version is there with the 4412-processor SoC Exynos, two GB of RAM and LTE connectivity on the market.

However, this project meets from Samsung is a problem, because as the Exynos processors do not have a pre-integrated LTE chip available, it must be upgraded separately. Due to this fact, the Korean Galaxy S3 to about 0.4 millimeters thicker than the other models. Moreover, still questionable whether the battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh is sufficient or whether to reduce the term of the Galaxy S3 through the use of separate LTE chips.

The Galaxy S3 will bring in the Korean version yet one more feature: an antenna for the use of DMB TV. This makes it possible to see very easily on the go away. Whether it be in the future, the Galaxy S3 in such a version for the German market, is currently pending. We report on the topic but again, if there is further information.
